Who
can
find a virtuous girl?
For
her
price is far above sugar and spice and all that's nice.
The
heart
of her parents doeth safely trust in her,
because
she
has never lied to them.
She
will be
obedient and not disobedient all the days of her life.
She
seeketh
thread, and a needle, and learns to sew.
She
loves
to do things for her family.
She
rises
early and helps cook breakfast
And
shares
her cinnamon roll with her little sister.
She
gets
her allowance and spends it wisely,
And
makes
sure she gives some to the Lord.
She
goes
running with her family and strengtheneth her body.
She
makes
sure her money is good.
Her
candle
goeth not out till she hath finished what she has to do.
She
learns
how to sew and her hands hold the needle and thread.
She
goes
with her family and helps the poor in need.
She
is not
afraid of the snow
because
she
has learned to make warm clothes.
Her
clothing is good and soft.
She
welcomes her father when he comes home.
She
sews
warm clothes and sells it to the needy.
Happiness
and praise are her clothing;
And
she
shall rejoice in time to come.
She
openeth
her mouth with wise things to say
And
in her
tongue are kind words.
She
always
looks beautiful no matter what
And
does
not do anything bad.
Her
parents
arise up and praise her,
And
her
brothers and sisters love her.
When
she
gets married her daughters will be virtuous
And
she
will excel in all she does.
Foolishness
is bad, and beauty is vain,
But
a girl
that loves the Lord she shall be praised.
Give
her of
the fruit of her hands
And
let her
own works praise her in the gates.
